Another timeless trend, which is prominent in many designer collections this fall, is lace. Lace is a fabric with many faces, ranging from girly and sweet to sexy and sultry. The face of lace in your fall wardrobe is all dependent upon how you style and accessorize it. Although I typically show my readers the presence of trends solely on runways and red carpets, I thought I'd switch it up a bit this week and demonstrate how frugal fashionistas can recreate expensive lace looks for less.
THE LITTLE BLACK LACE DRESS
The little black lace dress has always been one of the most popular ways to wear lace and it continues to hold it's own in fashion world this fall. The LBLD is a sexy and sultry take on the lace trend that truly compliments feminine curves. Kate Moss's simplistic hair and soft make up (shown below) prove that the LBLD can speak for itself and requires little accessorizing and styling. Although Kate's fabulous frock probably cost her a pretty penny, I've come up with some nearly identical alternatives that are perfect for beauties on a budget!

THE LACE TOP
A lace top is a chic, sophisticated take on the lace trend, which is extremely popular this season. Although lace tops are available in color, celebs and fashionistas are usually spotted wearing all black lace blouses.
When it comes to styling, I personally think lace tops look best when paired with leather pants and skirts. A lacy blouse tailored with a leather pencil skirt is the perfect combination of two of falls hottest trends. Kim Kardashian proves how perfectly these textiles compliment one another in the photo below. Kim's lace top and shoes, paired with leather pants, create the perfect combination of street meets sweet. Read on to learn how you can recreate Ms. Kardashian's leather and lace look for less!

THE LACE TRENCH COAT

Burberry and other designers have been producing these cute coats in a variety of hues, from black and white, to olive and nude. The Burberry London Sherfield Lace Trench Coat, shown above, is currently selling for $1,995. Lucky for you I've come up some sexy substitutes with even sexier price tags.
